I believe you should be able to resume uploads that have dropped out - most FTP clients have a resume function, such as SmartFTP for the PC. That's probably the best thing to do, going forward.

So you recomend getting away from ccPublisher as a client? Because from what I have seen so far, it's ability to resume an upload is spotty at best.

I, personally, would recommend getting away from ccPublisher, and using FTP - ccPublisher is good for basic, simple, uploading, but if you're having any trouble with stuff like time-outs, its ability to deal with that isn't so strong.

BTW Does ccPublisher require people to describe their items in at least 15 words? I've seen a lot of things while poking around where all people can seem to say about their creation, here for posterity, is: "Is this 15 words yet asdf asddfg"? :P

As far as I know, we discussed changing the minimum amount of words on uploads via ccPublisher to 15, and did it very briefly, but then switched it back to 5. But _somewhere_ in the instructions, it must still say 15. I can only presume. Someone should change that!

Ah- I could be looking at older items though from when there really did have to be 15.

No, I've seen new items where they still say 15, so I think something never got changed in the instructions, perhaps?

my 2 cent
i always start my uploads with the ccPublisher because of the easy xml creation
when ever my upload got canceled i resume with a normal ftp client like SmartFTP
it worked that way so far
